it is in times like these, i suddenly find myself using good advice of a friend i once had with whom i called shoon &the things that she taught me about how to suddenly recenter by just being good to yourself, pampered &treated like royalty &make the world your resort. a vacation in a courtyard &get a mani&pedi while drinking starbucks &listing life's luck by being grateful &willing. i do miss that shoon. i do.
