the company you keep aren’t a declaration of what you are
but the longer you are involved
the more you all evolve
and as you begin to adopt
a set of beliefs and lingo
persons drop the agenda of doing well
and one begins to form a sink hole
and if one falls in
they try to grab another
and with them falling deeper
it feels like love for each other
but it’s more a mix of making
a justification for claims
of how one carries themselves
and how well they act their age
and if we all want to be a team
and try to form a force
we can’t let the dirt pull us further
we have pull one another up
and be a source of positive reports
when ones down, don’t follow for fun
grab a hand
and try to help them up
