certain things are for earning
and better yet, for just yearning
quite yet because we're just knowing
what we are and how we'll be showing
what we need to feel

and it's matter of time that we have endless opportunity
for exploring more about what it means to me
because i do have tricks up my sleeve
and with what left to leave
there are things i better see
before you think you'll be good for it

so don't take another chance
unless you want this exact same answer
that i won't let you dare
until at least one hint you declare
or provide a piece offering of what we find fair share
then we can start working

truthfully with all the years i foresee
it could easily be
way down the road a piece
of course depending what ease
i can express me
is how we'll know

another factor is
how much emotion you give
the kind of way we live
detailed willingness
and then you might earn it

we won't know though
until we just go with the flow
do what we already know
at a pace that's comfortable
