it's torrential
you're as wet as you've ever been
soaked in your shoes
feels like its penetrating your skin
you're practically swimming
you start to feel like you'll never get dry
you're running as fast as you can
but you're not really sure why
you're not going to get less wet
and you weren't in a rush before
so, enjoy it while you can
it's cleansing, a good downpour
