stoner, dancer, know-it-all.
a rare breed of individual
but most meet and then want more.
not for nothing
but the stars don't seem aligned.
because for all the quality present
we're still far behind.
intricate details
of interesting characteristic.
blinded by insight.
sun-shining through the wind-storm.
hopeful and happy
a large part of the time.
but confused and dismayed
about where the present lies.
got to stay grateful
or at least go dance it off.
roll up a randy
and then go for a long walk.
got to be more than what we have
certain that there's more in store.
willing and waiting with impatient energy
so, it's got to be burned off.
