open and willing
to find what i'll be given
with hope and heart
knowing this is just the start
i won't pretend to be better
or make things seem worse
i'll accept them as they are
and make them great with my words
the world has been dark
but now that i see light
i'll walk right into the sun
and resist the urge to fight it
i'm at this point
where i'm sure i'm meant for good
and i won't back down
until it's all as it should
