easily inspired,
pushed and poked
but hates to be proded
scared, uncertain
& by far underestimated
by the inner defiant,
the little mermaid
trying what wasn't working
for the 45th time
and seems to keep herself trapped
in her own pretty mind
afraid of commitment
so choses whats wrong
and makes life a dramatic
punk rock song
horrified by reality
holding tight to the past
shes going down in deep water
never took her last gasp
doesn't want to drownd in her own silly pride
so she'll dust her face with the prettiest powder
sparkling through the entire ride
she reads more about life
and tries to move on
hopes the next big thing is the best love song
until then she'll try not to hibernate
make new friends
go on dates
wish she'd never let men get her jaded
but finds this problem has escalated
and its no ones fault but her own
this silly little girl
just wants to make a home.
