it didn't go away
it stayed and it still hurt
the feeling that i lost you
was enough to make me nuts
and i knew it was my fault
everything i did back then
but the pain never left
and it beat me near to death
continuous reminders
and the happiness i lost
kept me wishing and hopeful
that you'd come back to my life
i found out what i needed
that you're the only person for me
so i work on myself
and can only wait and see
